Futuristic ‘602 Seconda’ armchair by Swiss architect Mario Botta.
Sheet metal, epoxy coated steel frame, expanded polyethylene backrest. The Seconda is in the permanent collection at MOMA and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. This chair was produced by Alias, Italy, 1980.
Mario Botta studied with Le Corbusier in 1965 and Louis Kahn in 1969 in Venice Italy. Botta also studied in Milan from 1961-1969.
