The Grasshopper chair and ottoman based on Eero Saarinen’s chair of the same name, designed for Knoll in 1946. The Grasshopper is the first chair Saarinen designed in a series of sculptural chairs created for Knoll throughout the 1940s and 1950s. Knoll manufactured the chair and ottoman for nineteen-years, and ended its production in 1965. Excellent condition, original upholstery.
