Gabrielsen won the Lunning Prize — considered the "Nobel Prize" of Scandinavian Design in 1964. Frederick Lunning was the first to sell Georg Jensen jewellery in the US, setting up shop in NYC in the 1920’s. He worked with Hans Hansen until 1969. Hans Hansen was acquired by Georg Jensen.
