Includes original Toronto Star review and a booklet from the International Design Conference in Aspen, 1988 with collages made from his work from 1960-1988.
Dallegret received international fame for his Astrological Autos. He said in a New York Times Article, “As a Libra, I need a car that has a front on both ends”. This Auto was imagined for people born under the sign of Gemini.
He designed a limited edition series of 12 precisely drafted dream cars, or Astrological Automobiles, as he calls them. Each one is tailored to fit the personality type belonging to each of the 12 zodiac signs.
Dallegret trained as an Architect at the Beaux-Arts in Paris in the late 50’s. He moved to NY and then to Montreal in 1964.
