Don Jean-Louis (1937- Quebec) has been an innovative figure in the world of Canadian contemporary art since the nineteen sixties. The exploration of new media and technologies is a hallmark of his practice, always within a directed and coherent vision. Don had a credible career over a 50-year period and is represented in many public collections; National Gallery of Canada, Art Gallery of Ontario, Montreal Museum of Fine Art, Vancouver Art Gallery, Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, The Robert McLaughlin Gallery, Art Gallery of Hamilton etc.
This monoprint series was in a solo exhibition at the Kelowna Art Gallery in 2001 curated by Ihor Holubizky.
