Inabstracto is one of Toronto’s top mid-century modern and contemporary art and design destinations celebrating it’s 23rd year in business. Opened in 2001 by collector Kate Eisen, and joined in 2010 by artist and designer Julie Jenkinson, Inabstracto showcases a finely curated collection of furniture, lighting, art, objects, jewelry and gifts for the home.

Our focus is on the period from the 1940s to 1970s with a particular interest in rare Canadian, American, European and Scandinavian design. Our special and very personal interest in vernacular art and objects can be found throughout the store, as well as some contemporary art and lighting by independent designers and artists.

Sell, Consign or Rent

We are always on the lookout for interesting mid century modern design or contemporary art to include on our showroom. We buy outright or on a consignment basis. If you're interested, please send us an email with photos.

Our pieces are available to rent for film, television and staging. Please contact us to set up an appointment.
