Signed Alfaraz mid century studio pottery ashtray with painted ram. Miguel Durán-Loriga y Rodrigáñez (1928-1997) was a notable Spanish architect, ceramicist and professor of art pottery. He founded the Cerámica Artística Alfaraz (Alfaraz Pottery) in 1952 in Alcala de Henares, just north of Madrid.
