A fun decorative piece. Traditional Miravet ceramic jug with 6 faux spouts and whimsical bird gargoyle made by José Papaseit. Beautiful colours, variegated green and butter yellow glazed white slip clay. Inscribed with "St. Domingo Argentina 1997" and signed "Papaseit". 9.5" h. x 6.25" dia. In excellent condition.
The jug fills by immersion. Water enters through a tube that starts at the base and reaches the height of the spouts. Water comes out through only one spout which the bird points to.
